Frequently Asked Questions
Game format- 4 on 4 , 3 players plus goalie.. teams of 5 to allow a sub. Teams will be limited to 7 players on the roster.
Goalie equipment will be provided.
All players must be 18 years of age by game day.
We will have 2 playing areas aprox 35m x 13.5m or 105ft x 40ft
First game is scheduled to drop at 10 am as sign in starts at 9 am at Spruce Grove Overflow parking on June 11th 2011.
Each team will participate in a round robin style tournament in the am, each team will play 3 games and the top 8 teams will advance to a bracket playoff style till we have a winner.
Round robin games will be two 7 minute half's and the playoff games will be two 10 minute half's the Gold medal game will be two 12 minute half's.
Players will provide their own sticks, goalie sticks will be provided.
No Over Waist Slap Shots!
We will have 4 sets of pads, blocker, catcher, goalie sticks and masks for your use.
We highly recommend players wear hockey style gloves, mouth guards and any other personal protection equipment to help during game play.
Game play will be RAIN or SHINE!
We encourage teams to create a team uniform to stand out!
